ST+D is now Intelesens
Belfast, Northern Ireland July 28, 2009 – Sensor Technology and Devices Ltd, (ST+D) a medical device company focused on wireless vital signs measurement, announced today that it has changed the name of the company to Intelesens Ltd.
Intelesens Chief Executive Officer, Michael Caulfield, said, "The name change, which is effective immediately, reflects more accurately our focus on combining leading-edge sensor technology with intelligent electronics and software to treat both acutely ill and chronically ill patients requiring their vital signs to be monitored.”
Intelesens Ltd., a company registered in Northern Ireland, was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Company is privately-held and backed by venture investors Enterprise Equity and Clarendon Fund Managers. In June 2009 Intelesens began shipping its first CE approved remote event monitor.
